How to write for the search engines
After the Meta Elements article about the on-page optimization factors, here comes the most important factor. The actual content of the page.
Generally speaking, writing content is the hardest part on the website creation check-list. But then again, it’s the most important.
Since we’re in the SEO field, I just want to say one thing. No matter how good your On-Page Factors are, if your content is not of high quality, then your overall SEO efforts will not blossom.
To further explain myself and avoid misunderstandings, let’s take a look at case study scenario.
Meta elements
On my first post about Search Engine Optimization I mentioned the use of meta elements on the On-Page optimization tips section. Meta elements play an important role when you want to optimize a page for the search engines and your visitors.
As seen from the image above, meta elements are added at the end of the head section of a page, before the body section. If you are using a web creation application such as Dreamweaver or creating your pages by using only code, this is very useful to know. But since most of us nowadays create pages with CMS, we only need to see how writing the meta elements better can improve our ranking in search engines. Let’s see how we can use them effectively.
What is a CMS?

Nowadays, the amount of information shared over the Internet increases exponentially. This includes the information available that many organizations make known. A never-ending cycle, it implies that a source exposing more information makes the source more influential, resulting in even more information being exposed by other sources. In order for this information to be managed, several systems have been implemented to facilitate the creation and, most importantly, its organization. Therefore, any modern web site of dynamically managed content should implement a Content Management System (CMS).
The most popular CMS are:
- WordPress
- Joomla
- Drupal
Let’s take a look at them and see what each one has to offer.
Make Things Happen – My story

This motto guides my life. Literally! It’s the one thing I’m sure I will never stop believing in. As I go through life, I have come to realize that stressing over things, as opposed to actually doing them, doesn’t help. I’ve noticed that I manage to get the best out of a situation when I stop over-analyzing and re-thinking things and just get them done.
I don’t know why, but it seems that with Internet Marketing I did the exact opposite. I was making good money from the Internet, even though I didn’t know what meta tags were. Once I started learning about Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization however, everything stopped. Why? Check out what happened…
What is Search Engine Optimization?
Search engine optimization, or SEO for short, is the process of getting a website to rank higher in search engine results.
It is said that SEO is the holy grail for businesses. If a website ranks well with the main keywords of an industry, then it has a great chance of increasing profits. There are, of course, many other factors to consider once a website has achieved high ranking in the search engines. But worry not, we will cover everything in time!
To better optimize our site for the search engines, we have to pay attention to two things:

With On-Page Factors, we mean all elements included in our website, including code, text and images. We can control these factors.
With Off-Page Factors, we mean everything that is “said” about us. This could be in the form of links on other websites, comments, Facebook likes, tweets, etc. We may not be able to fully control these factors, but we can most definitely influence their impact.
Let’s explain what everything means and see what we can do to help our website rank higher.

Path to Choose
I’ve been trying to find a way to choose how this blog will evolve.
There are two approaches.
The first one would be to write articles about advanced users and create a “strong” appearance on the Internet Marketing industry. While this might be a good way to “kickstart” the blog and create a lot of “hype” I think that it would be much better if I could:
Start from scratch
Lay everything down from the beginning and guide the readers from step and day one. I am sure many friends will be disappointed, but the value that a “newbie” in Internet Marketing will get is more than I could hope for this blog.
Getting someone who has never heard of internet Marketing before and guide through through every step seems much more fulfilling to me. So if you’re reading this post and haven’t got a clue what Internet Marketing is and how people make a lot of money with their websites, just add the site to your RSS list or your bookmarks and start exploring this amazing field.
That’s it for now, good luck on this beginning to both of us! :)

Journey so Far
My journey in Internet Marketing started six years ago. It was a process that involved a lot of “playing” and much trial and error. After all, it’s the journey that counts, not the destination.
This mentality didn’t help in the beginning, but at least I’ve learned my lessons.
The journey itself might be a splendid thing, but without a goal, any journey is endless and ultimately pointless. To truly understand this notion, I had to spend 6 months on my computer trying to rank position 25 for a term searched over 24.000 times a day; only to realize that the market was crawling with webmasters and the money I was making from my own traffic wouldn’t ever be particularly good. Well that’s the problem with me: once I see competition, I’m all up in it – no hesitation. LESSON LEARNED.
Welcome Post
Hello and welcome to my new blog, Moneytized.com!
Thinking about it, this blog has been being developed for more than two years. It was always my intention to release a blog not only about SEO (search engine optimization), but about Internet Marketing in general, including guides for various fields of Internet Marketing, from campaign management to branding.
When I first started with Internet Marketing back in 2005, I was always keeping notes on special posts I’ve read, and making comments on everything. Watching this folder with data grow was the best thing I could imagine, but at the same time, the need to transform this data into information so that it can be shared with the rest of the world, became stronger.
This blog is created and will be used as a tool for me and friends to find all information needed much more easily. It will be my pleasure to see more people getting involved with this effort in terms of comments and corrections, and why not, even more.
